Kando - Transfiguration
The artist's work explores the experiences of Afro-descendants in a globalized society through painting, sculpture, collage and sometimes all three simultaneously, resulting in a metaphorical result that evokes both suffering and transcendence, construction and deconstruction. His personal experience, marked by uprooting from his home country, has played a decisive role in his reflection on society. Come and discover how his works pay tribute to the human capacity for resilience in the face of contemporary economic, socio-political and environmental problems.
