La Collection citoyenne de l'Afromusée est une initiative unique qui met en lumière les histoires et les expériences des Canadiens d'origine africaine à travers des œuvres inspirées de personnalités marquantes, de lieux emblématiques et d'événements historiques. Chaque année en février, l'Afromusée organise une séance de peinture en direct devant le public, au cours de laquelle des artistes créent des œuvres illustrant ces éléments significatifs en lien avec le thème choisi pour l'occasion.
